1978

CBC hired me in Churchill Manitoba, my first gig as a radio broadcaster. Young and foolish, but it launched my career as a radio broadcaster as this was something I always wanted to do!

1978 – 1984

CITI FM Winnipeg Manitoba.

Afternoon drive and its where I really learned to become a seasoned broadcaster mentored by Don Percy and working with Brother Jake!

1984 – 1991

CHOM FM Montreal.

Are you kidding me?! What a great opportunity to come home and continue to do what I loved to do. Thank you Winnipeg and hello Montreal, I’m coming home.

1991 – 1998

Mix 96 Montreal.

You want me to do what Rob? That was Rob Braide who gave the opportunity to expand my craft at the Mix.

1998 – 2001

CJAD 800 Montreal.

The legend comes knocking. George Balcan retired and they asked me to fill his seat. What shoes to fill! – What an honour it was. As my Mom and Dad have always said, “be yourself”.

2001 – 2008

97.7 CHOM FM Montreal.

The force of classic rock is string with this one and roots grow plentiful. Apparently you can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave! – or can you?

2008 – 2012

Q107 Calgary.

The west was won and Calgary bound I went. We are so blessed in Canada to get an opportunity to go back west. The following, the friends and the Calgary stampede!

2012 – May 28, 2021

97.7 CHOM FM Montreal.

It felt like it was early morning yesterday, I have been up before the dawn for 40 years and I have really enjoyed my stay, but I must be moving on. It is bittersweet but I so look forward to enjoying life with you at TerryDiMonte.com
